The Lady Arpels Centenaire was created to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the foundation of the company. The Lady Arpels Centenaire features quite a big case measuring 36 mm in diameter. The case was designed by Pierre Arpels in 1949. Its central decoration is also inspired by the same 1949 model. It is crafted out of 18kt white gold.
The watch face represents the four seasons and is composed of two separate sections. The first is a natural white mother-of-pearl disk which rotates around the dial every three months, with a second part, which is hand-painted enamel, which shows a garden which represents the four seasons. The dial is protected with sapphire crystal as well as the back case.
The watch accommodates a mechanical movement based on Jaeger-LeCoultre basic movement. The watch is coupled with an elegant blue satin strap with folding clasp.

The legendary collection of timepieces by the renowned jewellery and watchmaking brand Chopard - L.U.C – has been replenished with an extremely elegant and luxurious timepiece for ladies - Chopard L.U.C Tourbillon Lady. The watch is notable not only for the outstanding feminine design but also for the impressively complicated movement. The new timepiece is produced in limited edition of 50 pieces.
The new Chopard L.U.C Tourbillon Lady accommodates a manually wound L.U.C 4T movement with four winding barrels which provide 9 days of power reserve. The power reserve indicator is placed at 12 o’clock. The small seconds are combined with the tourbillon carriage. The movement is manually decorated and is marked with Geneva Seal of quality: the shapely bridges show of Cotes de Geneve patterns, finely chamfered edges, and bevelled jewel sinks and screw settings. What is more the movement is COSC certified.
The impressive movement is housed by a 42-mm 18K white or rose gold case fully set with the finest diamonds. Water resistance is 30 meters. The see-through sapphire crystal case back allows admiring the perfect movement.
The luxurious watch is coupled with a pink or white alligator leather strap equipped with a gold folding clasp paved with round brilliant diamonds.
On Air Wristwatch
A Turkish designer Iskander Asanaliev presents his original transparent On Air Wristwatch. The main peculiarity of the timepiece is that it only has one hand - the hour hand.
On Air Wristwatch shows the time in an extraordinary minimal way. While LED display shows minutes in number, its position shows the current hour. Display is also functioning as a light and set button. If you push once, the LED lights up. To set the time you need just to push in the center of the display for 5 seconds and LED flashes, here you push upper or lower corner of the display to set the hour and the left and right corner to set minutes.
The On Air Wristwatch is still a concept. But the idea was appreciated by many designers and watch specialists so maybe very soon the concept will become a real timepiece – the technology allowing producing such a watch already exists. And then it will be surely a success among those who like unusual and eye-catching designer accessories.
Gucci Pulse Concept Watch
The legendary fashion brand Gucci is famous not only for its luxury clothes and accessories. Fashion watches by this brand are also quite popular. Now Gucci presents its new concept timepiece – Gucci Pulse Concept watch.
The design of the new timepiece can be defined as retro-futuristic. This is the latest creation of designer Nuno Oliveira from Portugal, who wanted to design the most superb bracelet with watch wearing the famous Gucci brand and to see it on all ladies’ wrists.
Pulse is a concept involving the LCD technology and a nice stylish silver finish. The watch is made in the form of a thick silver bracelet. When you want to check the time you can simply slide the watch cover in the middle of the bracelet and reveal the transparent LED display.
